Thursday, April 25th, Optimism Brewing hosts the second annual Fierce Ladies Beer Fest, a craft festival featuring women-brewed beers. Fierce ladies, yes, but all genders are welcome.
“The fierce ladies from all over Washington state breweries dedicated International Womxn’s Day to brew up a batch of beer with the YCH Pink Boots Society Hop Blend featuring Loral, Mosaic, Simcoe, Sabro, and Glacier hops!” – According to the Facebook event page.
The beers and the festival benefit Pink Boots Society, an organization that assists, inspires and encourages women beer industry professionals to advance their careers through education.
Tickets are $27 and include 10 tokens (4-ounce pours in a commemorative glass). The event goes from 6:00 – 9:00.
Optimism Brewing is kid- and dog-friendly, but you do have to be a grownup of legal age to partake in the drinking.
