Chainline Brewing releases beer to support Ukrainian relief efforts

Chainline Brewing introduces Putin Huylo.

“Like many of you, we’ve been watching the events unfold in Ukraine with horror and a desire to help,” said a statement from Chainline Brewing of Kirkland, Washington. “It’s been difficult to know how, but when @pravdabeer put out the call to brew their victory beer we knew it was the least we could do to support them in their time of need.”

Pravda Beer Theatre, a brewery in  Lviv, Ukraine, asked breweries around the world to produce a beer based on one of its recipes to help raise funds for Ukrainian relief efforts in the wake of the war there. Thus far, countless breweries in the U.S. and around the world have answered the call.

Chainline Brewing brewed Putin Huylo, one of Pravda’s beers, and packaged it in cans featuring Pravda’s original artwork. Roughly translated, Putin Huylo is an insult to the Russian leader who is responsible for the war in Ukraine. (Putin D**khead.)

Now available at Chainline Brewing’s taproom in Kirkland, Putin Huylo is packaged in 4-packs of 16-ounce cans, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to support the ongoing humanitarian efforts that Pravda Beer Theatre is spearheading. To date, those efforts have provided thousands of meals to defense forces, first responders, and refugees fleeing the fighting.
