Join Beveridge Place Pub this Thursday, April 24th, for a proper send-off

For many years, you could always count on Beveridge Place Pub to pour you a pint of Boundary Bay IPA. The pub hosts a month-long, annual tournament-like event and lets patrons decide which IPA should serve as the house IPA—the always-on-tap IPA—for the upcoming year. Boundary Bay Brewery’s IPA earned that honor for many years. Maybe a decade or more? Understandably, there is a mutual admiration between the pub and the brewery.

This Thursday, April 24th, Beveridge Place Pub is turning over several taps to Boundary Bay Brewery as a way to bid the venerable brewery a fond farewell. You’re invited to enjoy a selection of the brewery’s offerings, including some familiar favorites and some new ones.

As we announced last November, Boundary Bay Brewery is closing its brewery and bistro later this year. Without dwelling on the details, the property owner has plans for the building, which is located in the heart of Bellingham’s rapidly changing downtown core. On top of that, it’s time for the business owners to enjoy a well-earned retirement.

“This Thirsty Thursday, we celebrate Bellingham’s original brewery, Boundary Bay!” said Beveridge Place Pub on social media. “They’ll be closing up shop in September, so we wanted to feature some of their great creations for a night of tasty brews!”
