Best of Hands Brewery & Barrelhouse celebrates with barrel-aged, fruited, sour beer releases and more!
Time flies when you’re having beer! It’s hard to believe a year has passed since Best of Hands Brewery & Barrelhouse opened in West Seattle. This brewery hit the ground running and made impressive beers from the get-go, but has really hit its stride recently. In the beginning, the brewery offered an expected lineup of things like well-executed IPAs, pale ales, and saisons, but also produced less-common gems like a mind-bending baltic porter. It took a while for the “barrelhouse” part of the equation to come to fruition. After all, barrel-aged beers take some time.
Join Best of Hands the weekend of March 6th thru 8th for the brewery’s first-anniversary celebration, featuring special beer releases and more. Here’s what they have planned.
Mark your calendars, our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY is coming up on March 8th, and to celebrate we’ll be partying all weekend long! We’ll be introducing Shimi’s, a new food truck concept from Shimi Kahn, owner & operator of Falafel Salam! We’ll be releasing the following beers as well:
FRIDAY 3/6 – Release of 500ml (+ tiny draft portion) of The Mentaculus- a cabernet sauvignon barrel-aged sour ale with blackberry and black currant. Plus the release of French for Pilsner: a collaboration draft lager with Mirage Beer Co.
SATURDAY 3/7 – Release of Spirit Journey Formation Anniversary- a draft version of our Abaculus NEIPA with Olympia Coffee Roasters’ Sweetheart Reserve added.
SUNDAY 3/8 – Release of Three Kingdoms- a cabernet sauvignon barrel-aged sour ale with apricots on draft.
Plus perhaps some surprises thrown in all weekend for good measure!
