The Beer Junction teamed up with Fort George Brewery to create the Fourth Anniversary Black Sands Imperial Stout, which they brewed using coconut, macadamia nuts, and vanilla along with black barley and chocolate malt. Tonight, join The Beer Junction as they welcome the crew from Fort George Brewery for a tasting event and the official Black Sands Imperial Stout release party (5:00 – 8:00).
From Beer Junction:
“It’s been a great past year here. We’ve expanded our tap selection to more than 35, added cask conditioned beer, extended our hours, launched our new website with a live taplist, and met lots of wonderful customers. Starting today we start our week long celebration with a special bottle release and keg tapping of our 4th Anniversary Black Sands Coconut Cream Imperial Stout brewed by our friends at Fort George Brewery!”
“For our 4th Anniversary beer, we went for a stronger stout to celebrate the occasion, but also brewed it to hit that tropical theme of the summer time. Black Sands clocks in at 8.5% ABV and was brewed with three pounds of coconut per barrel, along with macadamia nuts, vanilla, black barley, chocolate malt, and lightly bittered with Northwest hops. We like to say that it’s an imperial stout you can enjoy on a sunny beach or by the fire.”
