Just steps from the ferry terminal on Bainbridge Island, Bainbridge Brewing will soon open a new taproom in downtown Winslow: the Bainbridge Brewing Alehouse. The company recently announced on Facebook that it is taking over the alehouse formerly knows as The Alehouse on Winslow, a beer-focused bar on the main drag in downtown Winslow.
According to that announcement, “Today (June 1st) we took possession of the space and we hope to reopen it as the Bainbridge Brewing Alehouse just as soon as we are legally allowed to sell you delicious beer there! The crew at the Alehouse have done a marvelous job over the last five years and we will be preserving everything we all love about the place and, if even possible, improving on it.”
The new Bainbridge Brewing Alehouse will showcase the company’s own beers alongside a curated collection of other northwest brews and ciders. They will welcome dogs. The new location will be 21+ only (probably a matter of licensing). Expect music and trivia regularly, board games always, and sports on the TVs.
Bainbridge Brewing hopes to reopen the Alehouse during the week of June 10th, but that’s dependent on licensing and so on. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for updates.
