Seems like only yesterday we first told you about 7 Seas Brewing opening in Gig Harbor. Hard to believe it’s been five years. Each year the company celebrates its anniversary with a big party in the parking lot. This year’s event takes place on Saturday, July 12.

Among other highlights, the musical lineup includes Four on the Floor, a band fronted by me. So if you want to see what I do when I’m not writing about beer, come on down. We take the stage early, at 1:00 P.M.

Here is more information straight from 7 Seas Brewing:

7 Seas Brewing has become a South Sound staple these last 5 years. The ever-expanding brewery rose from the ashes in 2008 after a fire tore through their first location, and in late 2012, proudly moved their entire facility to Gig Harbor’s Downtown Waterfront. The downtown space has allowed them to continue growing their production and offer a much larger Tap Room. The two local owners are thankful for the amazing community support, and for beer lovers throughout WA. The company now sells beer in all of Western WA.

7 Seas president, Mike Runion says, ”This is our annual opportunity to say thanks to all those who have supported us and made this company what it is. And we are extremely thankful! A day of beer, food, and music in our beautiful downtown waterfront.”

Tasty food offering include the world famous Buck-B-Q, serving up favorites off the grill and lighter salads, and Tizley’s Euro Pub, serving up some vegetarian options and ratatoulle. There will be a fantastic selection of local music performances including Ben Union, C-Leb & The Kettle Black, Perry Acker, Four On The Floor, and Red Stone Sinners.

The party is a +21 event. The cost of such an amazing day? Just $3 per person, 100% of which goes to the bands. Credit/debit cards will only be accepted for merchandise purchases, so bring cash for entry, beers, and food (ATM on-site). The Tap Room will be open for growler fills and merchandise only. Walk, bike, designate a driver, just be sure to be safe! Lifestyle Valet has graciously offered their shuttle services free of charge. Of course, good dogs on leash are welcome with their humans.
