Today I share some happy news for beer lovers in Western Washington: Single Hill’s beers are about to get easier to find. Whenever someone asks, I always mention Single Hill Brewing as one of my favorite breweries, so I am happy that River Barrel Distributing just announced that Single Hill is now part of its catalog and the brewery’s beers will now enjoy broader distribution across Western Washington.
“This partnership with River Barrel Distributing is exciting,” says Zac Turner, one of the brewery’s founders. “Not just because the beer that we’re incredibly proud of will find a wider audience, but because this is the start of a long-term relationship that we expect to be marked with stability, mutual support, and growth.”
In 2018, Zac Turner and Ty Paxton founded Single Hill Brewing in Yakima. Turner brought years of experience in both the brewing industry and the hop industry to the table. Paxton added the business and marketing savvy. They chose Yakima because it is the heart of the U.S. hop industry.
“Single Hill Brewing brings together the hop and beer industries, alongside our local Yakima community, to create good times and great beer,” says Paxton.

Single Hill Brewing has created more than 70 unique beers so far this year. Now, some of those beers will see wider availability in Washington’s King, Pierce, Thurston, Lewis, Snohomish, Kitsap, and Chelan Counties by virtue of the new relationship with River Barrel Distributing.
