Spokane’s Brick West Brewing is teaming up with Numerica Credit Union to raise funds for the Wishing Star Foundation. To contribute, all you need to do is visit the brewery any Thursday in November between 4:00 and 8:00 to enjoy some beer. The brewery calls it Give Back Thursdays.
“We’ve been looking for ways to help and connect with the community this holiday season, and we were sitting down with our friends at Numerica just brainstorming who and how we could help,” said Bill Powers, Head of Marketing Brick West Brewing. “Numerica has worked with the Wishing Star Foundation in the past, and so it ended up being a great fit for our Give Back Thursdays”
Every Thursday in November (except Thanksgiving) Numerica will donate $1 per pint sold and Brick West will donate 10 percent of beer sales to help Wishing Star’s mission of granting wishes for children ages 3-21 who are terminally ill or battling a life-threatening illness. Also, anyone who donates to the cause will get raffle tickets for some Brick West prizes.
“I know that giving during the holidays can sometimes feel like white noise, but the Wishing Star Foundation does some amazing work with kids that don’t have a lot to look forward to,” added Bill. “So check out what they’re doing and then come down to the brewery and have a pint for a good cause”
