Second Annual Ballard Oktoberfest – Saturday, September 17

Four breweries in Ballard are teaming up to present the 2nd Annual Ballard Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 17. Don your lederhosen and dirndls and get ready for a brewery pub crawl. The roving party will move between the four breweries, all within easy walking distance of each other. The participating breweries are Reuben’s Brews, Stoup Brewing, Lucky Envelope Brewing, and Populuxe Brewing.

The party starts at 2:00 at Reuben’s Brews when The Oompah Machine starts cranking out all those German beer-drinking classics. At 3:00 the band will lead revelers to Stoup Brewing, then to Lucky Envelope at 4:00, and finally to Populuxe at 5:00.

Each brewery will have at least one special Oktoberfest brew and a limited-edition 0.5 liter commemorative stein. You can purchase steins for $6 empty or $10 filled. There will also be food trucks at each brewery to provide noshables. Verity Credit Union, the event sponsor, will provide free pretzel necklaces.

“Verity Credit Union is delighted to once again to sponsor the Second Annual Ballard Oktoberfest celebration,” says Alicia Diefenbach, community relations specialist for Verity Credit Union. “Supporting the Ballard brewing community to serve up an afternoon of delicious brews, good times and oomptastic brass for our neighbors is the exactly the way we want to help the community celebrate this fun, fall tradition.”
