Barleywine Bacchanal at Beveridge Starts Thursday

A flight of barleywine at Beveridge Place Pub.

Barleywine Bacchanal starts on Thursday, March 14th at Beveridge Place Pub

Winter is almost done. Spring is just a few days away. Isn’t it pretty to think so? But now that the clocks have sprung forward, and the vernal equinox is just a week away, it is time for one last wintery hurrah! West Seattle’s Beveridge Place Pub invites you to take one last dive into the biggest and boldest of all brews: barleywine.

A list of barleywine that will be on tap at Beveridge Place Pub.

Barleywine Bacchanal sees the pub turn over 24 of its taps to barleywine. Not just locally brewed beers, but also barleywine from esteemed breweries from far, far away. The lineup will rotate throughout the weekend. (Above: the opening day lineup for this year’s event.) Keep an eye on social media. Beveridge Place Pub serves these beers via taster flights so you can sample a variety without entirely sacrificing your sobriety. If you want a full pour, that’s allowed too.

This weekend’s weather forecast looks perfect for beer gardening and Beveridge Place has ample indoor and outdoor seating. The pub is open 3:00-11:00 on Thursday, 3:00-12:00 on Friday, Noon-12:00 on Saturday, and Noon-10:00 on Sunday.
