Fremont Brewing partnered with Seafair to create an official beer
Seattle’s Seafair celebration dates back to 1911, but most of the events we associate with it date back to the 1950s. This is way overdue. Seafair finally has an official, locally brewed beer this year: Seafair Pilsner, by Fremont Brewing. Finally, the festival that celebrates all the great things about Seattle acknowledges that craft beer is one of those great things. The brewery releases the beer on Friday, June 27th, and it is available in 16-ounce cans and on draft. The official release announcement is below.
In the past, certain Seafair events were sponsored by big beer companies, and maybe still are. Think, Budweiser beer gardens at the boat races. I’d bet that back in the day, Rainier Beer was a big sponsor of Seafair events, but welcome to the 21st century. Fremont Brewing Debuts New Pilsner As The Official Beer of Seafair 2025
Fremont Brewing, Pike Brewing, and Lost Lake Cider debut as official beer and cider partners available at all Seafair events
SEATTLE, WA – Fremont Brewing has partnered with Seafair to unveil Seafair Pilsner, a limited-edition collaboration beer brewed to capture the spirit of Seattle’s most iconic summer celebration. As the official festival beer, Seafair Pilsner will be available at all Seafair events throughout 2025, select regional retailers, and Fremont Brewing’s Urban Beer Garden locations in Fremont and Columbia City.
Brewed for sunshine and good times, Seafair Pilsner is a crisp, refreshing beer that’s perfect for summer. Light and easy-drinking at 4.5% ABV, it offers a clean, slightly sweet flavor with a touch of gentle bitterness and a hint of salt, like a breeze off the Sound. You’ll catch subtle aromas of wildflowers, fresh-cut grass, and a splash of melon, making it the perfect sip for Seafair season.

As part of the broader Fremont portfolio, festivalgoers can also enjoy Fremont’s Lush IPA and Golden Pilsner, along with Pike Brewing’s Space Needle IPA and Lost Lake Cider’s Berry Pack, all featured as additional official beers and hard cider at Seafair events across the city.
Seafair Pilsner is available in 16 oz. 4-packs and on draft starting June 27th.
