Reuben’s Brews invites you to Hop Mob, a triple IPA takeover, on Saturday, February 8th.

Washington Hop Mob has proven itself a resilient beast over the years. It started about a decade ago as a way to celebrate the quality of Washington-brewed triple IPAs. At its zenith, the official Hop Mob kickoff event at Brouwer’s Cafe involved tapping 50 WA-brewed triple IPAs simultaneously. Hard to imagine. Eventually, Hop Mob no longer focused on triple IPA and instead involved beers with outstanding hop character. But now, the focus returns to the biggest and hoppiest of all beer styles: triple IPA.

“If you know, you know,” said Reuben’s Brews on social media. “And if you don’t—well, consider this your invitation to one of the most legendary beer events in the PNW. Hop Mob is back on February 8th, bringing together some of the best breweries in the region for a night dedicated to hops on hops on hops.”

“For those who remember the early days of Hop Mob, you know what this means, said Reuben’s Brews. “For those who don’t—trust us, you don’t want to miss it. This isn’t just another beer fest, it’s a full-fledged Triple IPA takeover, featuring exclusive releases from Reuben’s Brews and a lineup of special brews from some of the most hop-obsessed breweries in the PNW. Expect bold flavors, high ABVs, and enough lupulin to make any hophead weak in the knees. We’ll be tapping Blimey! That’s Bitter and Triple Crush when doors open at 11 am!”

The guest triple IPAs are from:

Once upon a time, Hop Mob also included several “roadshow” events around the region. This year, away from the event at Reuben’s Brews, we’ve only heard about one event–Thursday, February 13th, at Beveridge Place Pub. That event will feature “A celebration of all things hoppy from Washington state! IPAs, Double IPAs, Triple IPAs, Black IPAs, Belgian IPAs, Cold IPAs, & whatever other kind of IPA we can find!”
