Holy Mountain Brewing announced today that is has three bottle releases coming up, including one taproom-only bottle. All three beers are barrel aged, two are saisons and one is a tart wheat beer.

August 6, 2015 – (Seattle, WA) Holy Mountain Brewing Company, located in Seattle’s Interbay neighborhood, is proud to announce the release of three new beers in bottles. The Seer, The Ox, and Barrel #7 will all be released on Friday, August 21st starting at 12pm at the Holy Mountain taproom located at 1421 Elliott Ave W in Seattle.

The Seer is a hoppy brett saison. This batch was aged in an oak foudre with brettanomyces for three months and then dry hopped in the foudre with Galaxy and Goldings. The Seer is brewed with wheat and pilsner malt and hopped with a blend of European and Southern Hemisphere hops. The bottles were refermented with brettanomyces and allowed to condition for over two months. 165 cases of The Seer will be available both at the taproom and in limited distribution to local accounts.

The Ox is a citrus farmhouse ale. This batch was aged in oak barrels for half a year with a house mixed brettanomyces culture. The Ox is brewed with orange zest in the kettle and dry hopped with Cascade. The bottles were refermented with brettanomyces and allowed to condition for over three months. Only 65 cases of The Ox are available for sale.

Barrel #7 was one of the first batches of beer brewed at Holy Mountain last Fall. It was a light blonde wheat beer fermented in a puncheon with lactobacillus and brettanomyces which was then racked onto a mix of stone fruit in a wine barrel and left to age. Barrel #7 is an easy drinking tart wheat beer with strong minerality and a light fruit character. Refermented in the bottle with brettanomyces. Only 18 cases are available for sale, which will be available only at the taproom.

Bottle limits of 1 case per person of The Seer, 6 bottles per person of The Ox, 3 per person of Barrel #7. $15 each.

The Holy Mountain Brewing Company taproom is located at 1421 Elliott Ave W in Seattle’s Interbay neighborhood. Featuring 12 taps of Holy Mountain’s ales and lagers. The taproom is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 3 – 9, Friday 3 – 10, Saturday 12 – 10, and Sunday 12 – 9. The taproom is closed Tuesdays.

21+ except to pick up growlers, no pets, outside food is welcome.

The taproom has parking on the west side of the building, which can be accessed from the alley off of W Galer St under the Magnolia overpass, or W Lee St, next to the Dog Lounge. There is also access from Elliott Ave, including ADA access.
