The Collins Pub is hosting a Brewer Dinner on Saturday, January 26th. The featured brewery is Fort George Brewing of Astoria, Oregon. Many local beer enthusiasts around Seattle are familiar with Fort George Vortex IPA, but fewer are familiar with some of the brewery’s other great beers which will be featured at this event. As usual, you can count on The Collins Pub’s kitchen to create some delicious pairings. Details below.
Here’s the message we received from Seth Howard, publican at The Collins Pub.
It’s been a while since we’ve done a brewer dinner and we are stoked to have the fine folks and beers from Ft. George Brewing at the table Saturday Jan. 26th for a four course dinner. We will be pouring a few exclusive barrel aged beers, their cool, continually evolving IPA called beta, and roses on roses to be paired with the likes of roasted leek and Dungeness chowder, coffee rubbed smoked pork tenderloin, chocolate caramel tarte with malted whipped cream and bacon brittle.
