Two events coming up next week at Brouwer’s Cafe that are worth mentioning.
On Tuesday, January 22 at 6:00 p.m. Brouwer’s welcomes Ninkasi Brewing from Eugene, OR. The point of the event is for Ninkasi to prove that they brew more than IPA. Among the non-IPA beers on tap, Ancient Aleiens, ReNEWale ESB, Sasquatch Legacy Weatwine, Allies Win the War, and ImperAle Stout.
On Wednesday, January 23rd at 6:00 p.m. Brouwer’s Cafe welcomes Coronado Brewing to the Seattle marketplace. If you’re wondering why the name rings a bell, maybe it’s because of a story that was in the news last year (read it). Coronado Brewing is perhaps best known for its IPAs – Idiot IPA, Islander IPA, and Frog’s Breath IPA. It will be interesting to which, if any, of those beers Coronado brings to the Seattle beer market, where IPAs still reign supreme.
