Organizers of the annual Tumwater Artesian Brewfest say they have room for more breweries to participate in this year’s festival on Saturday, August 19th. A couple of the region’s largest beer festivals have bowed out this year, but this festival endures. And why not? Tumwater, WA has a long and proud beer tradition to uphold!
This festival is a perfect blend of community fun and beer geekery. They have no problem selling tickets to local beer lovers or attracting local sponsors, but this year they still have room for more breweries. Most beer festivals lean one way or the other. They are more about the beer and less about the festival or they are more about the festival and less about the beer. Tumwater Artesian Brewfest balances the two. Fun and games, live music, and all the festival fun, but also the brewmentation tent, which provides festivalgoers with a geekier experience.
