Three beer releases from Kulshan Brewing

Bellingham’s Kulshan Brewing just announced the release of three beers: Belgian Golden Strong, Schwarzbier, and Thunder Road British-style barleywine. Here is the info straight from the brewery.

Known for both its devious nature and its elegant flavor profile, Belgian Golden Strong is a style popularized by the Belgian brewery Duvel. Belgian pilsner malt and German noble hops dance beautifully in this beer, creating a balanced beer that is dry up front, and has a bready and slightly sweet finish. No matter the time of year, this beer is a celebration of life!
8.5% ABV // 30 IBU

Brewed for over a millennia, Schwarzbier is a paradigm shift of beer. Rich and dark to the eye, yet light and crisp on the tongue, this beer displays mild roasted malt character that finishes quick, clean and dry. Complex and refreshing, we are proud to offer you this elegant and time honored beer.
5.2% ABV // 23 IBU

Thunder Road is a British-style Barleywine that will dance across your palate. Rich and smooth malt notes blend gracefully with a warming booziness, followed by slight lingering notes of graham cracker and toffee. A healthy dose of hops play sidekick to the malt notes in this beer, providing just enough bitterness, as well as floral and earthy notes.
12% ABV // 65 IBU
