Fort George Brewery is coming to West Seattle on October 16th and bringing all the freshies with ‘em
It’s just one part of The Beer Junction’s fresh hop festival (October 8th – 19th), but it’s a big part. Astoria, Oregon’s Fort George Brewery is bringing five of this year’s fresh hop offerings to West Seattle for a tap takeover. As any well-informed PNW beer nerd knows, Fort George Brewery has a very particular set of skills that it has acquired over a very long career, skills that make it a dream team for people like you: people who love hoppy beers. This very particular skillset shines bright during the fresh hop beer season. Head to The Beer Junction on Thursday, October 16th and find out for yourself.
“We are beyond stoked to be hosting one of our absolute favorite breweries, Fort George, for a tap takeover within our larger Fresh Hop Fest this year,” said the announcement from The Beer Junction. “We will be tapping five freshies from Fort George: Fresh Pierogi, Fresh Hop Fields of Green, Sediments of Memory, Fresh Hop Mirrored Realities, and Mosaic Architect.”
“We’re also re-debuting our Lukr side-pull faucet to pour their [Fort George’s] brand new, phenomenal, Pilsner! We’ll have merch giveaways from both us and Fort George, and Smash Boogie Burgers will be here as well slingin’ burgers off of our patio.”
“Fresh Hop season is already the greatest time of year but we felt like we had to take it up a notch this year and host some of our friends for a little extra madness.”
