The South Sound Beer Fest is scheduled for Saturday, July 26th, at the Three Magnets Brewing Pubhouse in downtown Olympia, Washington. The event will showcase beers from roughly two dozen breweries and celebrate Three Magnets Brewing’s 11th anniversary. Tickets are selling fast and are available at 3magbrewing.com. Last year’s event sold out. The event is family- and dog-friendly and offers many options for sober and sober-curious festivalgoers.
The majority of the breweries are from the South Sound region, but Three Magnets Brewing also invited some guest brewers from farther afield. I share the current list of breweries below, though that list may get longer.

- Tickets: www.3magbrewing.com – $29* gets you ten 5-ounce tasters and a commemorative South Sound Beer Week tasting glass, and live entertainment
- Additional taster tickets can be purchased for $2.50 each, or $20 for an additional punch card.
- Three tickets get you a whole pint of select beers. Three tickets get you a 16-ounce can of Scherler Easy.

- Sober & Sober Curious Friendly: At least ten varieties of craft non-alcoholic beers from Self Care will be available for taster pours, or full can options, ensuring there’s something for everyone.
- Delicious Food Vendors: Indulge in mouth-watering offerings from O.G.’s Smokehouse BBQ and Citra Pizza, perfectly complementing your beverage choices.
- Live Original Music: Enjoy a vibrant atmosphere with live original music curated by Free Music Olympia, featuring incredible performances by Olympia’s own Lonesome Bramble, The Proffits, and a headlining performance by The Low Wires.
- Family and Dog Friendly: This is an all-ages event, with kids entering for FREE (up to two per adult). There are plenty of non-alcoholic options for the entire family to enjoy. Well-behaved dogs on leashes are also welcome!
- Exclusive Discounts: All ticket holders will receive 25% off all to-go beer after the event, allowing you to take the celebration home with you.
Important Notes for Attendees
- Please Drink Responsibly: By Washington State law, we cannot serve any individual that shows signs of intoxication, so please pace yourself, or try some of our Self Care non-alcoholic beer!
- Arrive Early: As with any brew fest, the most popular beers may run out before the event is over, so arrive early if there are beers you are excited about!
- Free Public Transportation: Intercity Transit buses are absolutely free, offering a great way to get your family to and from events like this safely!
