Spring has sprung, as they say. With the new season, Lucky Envelope Brewing in Seattle introduces a new batch of seasonal beers. The brewery releases two of the beers this Saturday, March 24th. On Saturday, April 2nd it releases the other three beers at its Sour Beer Day celebration. (April 2nd, Tacos El Guero will be there from 4:00- 9:00.)

Beer: South African Juicy IPA (6.3% ABV)
Availability: Available Saturday, March 26th on Draft and in 4-Pack Cans ($18). Description: Our South African Juicy IPA features late and dry hoppings of Southern Passion and Southern Star. These hops originate near the city of George, South Africa and lend notes of red berries, apricot, green coconut, and orange peel.

Beer: Italian Pilsner (5.0% ABV)
Availability: Available Saturday, March 26th on Draft and in 4-Pack Cans ($15). Description: The lagerheads at Lucky Envelope are excited to share this deliciously soft Italian-Style Pilsner with notes of honey-like malt sweetness and flowery continental hops. This beer was brewed with Weyermann Eraclea Malt grown off of Italy’s Adriatic coast and hopped meticulously with Saphir and Hallertauer Mittelfrueh hops during late, whirlpool, and dry hopping.
Beer: Blackberry Cobbler Sour (5.7% ABV)
Availability: Available Saturday, April 2nd on Draft and in 4-Pack Cans ($20). Description: Old-fashioned fruit-filled desert meets our modern sour ale in this limited release beer brewed with hundreds of pounds of blackberries, lemon zest, real vanilla and lactose. The golden sour base gives the blackberries the flavor spotlight while the addition of lactose gives this sour a perfect blend of tartness and rich creaminess.

Beer: Sour Patch Kids Watermelon Sour (5.7% ABV)
Availability: Available Saturday, April 2nd on Draft-Only. Description: Brewed with real SPK Watermelon candies and hibiscus, this pink sour is lightly tart and packed full of watermelon candy flavor!
Beer: Curuba Sour (5.7% ABV)
Availability: Available Saturday, April 2nd on Draft-Only. Description: Our tried-and-true golden sour meets the South American fruit, curuba, also called banana passionfruit. It is often said this fruit tastes like a hybrid between passionfruit and peaches.
