Sour Beer celebration at Elliott Bay’s Brother Barrel

This Friday and Saturday, Elliott Bay Brewing invites you to Brother Barrel for a special event featuring 15 different sour beers. Many of the beers are of Elliott Bay Brewing’s own creation, but the tap list also includes some impressive guest beers. Sour Beer & Brothers Old Fashioneds Pop-Up is part of the larger Seattle Beer Week celebration happening across the city.

Brother Barrel is Elliott Bay Brewing’s barrel-aged beer emporium. Located right next to the Elliott Bay Public House and Brewery on Lake City Way, Brother Barrel offers sophisticated cocktails alongside its barrel-aged creations, whether they be sour beers or big, burly, dark beers. Along with that, a menu of small plates, burgers, and seafood. Brother Barrel welcomes all ages at this event but otherwise is a 21+ establishment.

For this weekend’s Sour Beer & Brothers Old Fashioneds Pop-Up, Brother Barrel will serve 15 different sour beers, not to mention its crowd-favorite Old Fashioned cocktails. On Saturday, local band Spell Check provides live music from 6:00 – 8:00.

The beer lineup includes the following Elliott Bay creations:
