Series of Events Introduces pFriem Family Brewers to Washington

A couple weeks ago we told you that pFriem Family Brewers planned to enter the Washington market. (Read that story.) Now we have the details about the events. Most of them involve food as well as beer. Details below.

Starting on March 12th, and ending on March 18th, a series of events will introduce pFriem Family Brewers to Seattle and Western Washington. Events will take place at Brouwer’s Cafe, Naked City Brewery and Taphouse, The Pine Box, Beveridge Place Pub (blog sponsor), Acme Farm and Kitchen, the Green Frog Acoustic Tavern, and The Red Hot.

At each event, the exceptional beers will be accompanied by the smiling faces of Josh and Annie pFriem. I’ve always said, “Good people make good beer.” They prove it.

Here is the official press release.

Josh Pfriem, Brewmaster, [born and raised in Seattle] spent a significant part of his brewing career in the Seattle market while Head Brewer at Chuckanut Brewery in Bellingham, WA. “I’m stoked to get back to my roots and reconnect with all our friends in the Washington beer industry”, said Josh Pfriem.

pFriem (pronounced “freem”) produces an array of beers that feature Belgian inspired ales, along with Northwest hop forward favorites. pFriem currently features a wide range of seasonal beers. They are looking forward to starting a barrel-aging program in the near future, which will consist of traditional Belgian [Lambic-style] sour ales.

pFriem Brewery and Tasting Room is located in Hood River, OR, just south of the Washington State border and across the street from the town’s beautiful Waterfront Park. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Columbia and White Salmon rivers while enjoying pFriem’s core beers and current seasonals. The pFriem tasting room offers a Belgian-influenced menu, made with locally sourced ingredients and designed to pair with the pFriem family of artisanal beers.
