Seattle Beer Week 2025 – May 9th through 17th
It’s a citywide celebration of beer. It’s called Seattle Beer Week, but it stretches across eight beer-filled days, with events at different locations around town filling the calendar. Beer Week is an opportunity for Seattle’s beer lovers and beer pros to show and share their appreciation of beer.
For beer fans, it’s time to mark your calendar. Get ready to pick the events that interest you; the events calendar will soon start filling up. For bars and taprooms, it’s time to schedule your events and let the folks at Seattle Beer Week know what you’ve got planned.

The beer is in the tank. The official Seattle Beer Week Beer was brewed in March at Urban Family Brewing, with brewers and brewery representatives from across the city gathering on brew day to contribute to the spirit of the project (pictured above). This year, the official SBW beer is a lager. Group Project is a German-style light Lager, cracking in at a gulpable 4.7 percent ABV. It should be available in cans within the next few weeks and will hit local taplists when Seattle Beer Week kicks off on May 9th.
