It’s like a brewer’s night event with an added bonus: it includes a freshly roasted pig. You get to enjoy a selection of beers from a local brewery, chat with the brewer or brewery reps, and enjoy a meal that includes meat from a freshly roasted whole pig. Rhein Haus Seattle presents Pig ‘n Pint nights every other Thursday starting in April and stretching through the summer. (Photos courtesy of Yes Parade.)

Two chefs carving a roasted whole pig

For the 9th year, Rhein Haus in Seattle invites you to enjoy two of life’s greatest pleasures: locally brewed craft beer and whole roasted pig. “Chef Pete will be roasting a whole pig on site each night,” said the announcement.

Dinner service starts at 5:30 and includes a plate piled high with freshly roasted pork and all the sides: mac and cheese, coleslaw, honey butter brioche rolls, and sauces. The $30 price of dinner includes a pint of beer. Folks can meet the brewers and win swag. Also, they’ll give away some Mariners tickets.

These are popular events, so if you want to eat some pig it’s best to show up early. The dinner bell rings at 5:30.
