A lot has changed in the last 10 years as the Ballard brewery scene has blossomed into what it is today. Reuben’s Brews has blossomed with it and become one of the most popular breweries in the Pacific Northwest.

Mark the calendar for this one. Reuben’s Brews is shutting down the street and having a big ol’ block party. Live music all day long, multiple food trucks, activities for the kids, and more. Of course, beer. Lots of beautiful beer. It all happens on Saturday, August 6th.

Here is the announcement from social media.

“This is the big one! To celebrate 10 years of glass backwards brewing, we’ll be closing down NW 51st Street in Ballard on Saturday, August 6.

“Four bands will perform throughout the day starting at noon, numerous food trucks will serve a variety of cuisine, we’ll have activities for kids, and we’ll be selling limited-edition merchandise. We’ll also be pouring all 10 beers in our 10th Anniversary Series, including fresh batches of the early releases. The final two collaborations, an IPA we made with our mug club and a barrel-aged team blend, drop that day too.

“Make sure you don’t miss this one!”
