Washington Brewshed® Alliance Releasing a Collaboration Beer Brewed with 85 Partners
The Washington Brewshed® Alliance works with nearly 90 brewing industry partners across the state to advance a shared interest in protecting our waterways. The Washington Beer Blog is proud to support that work. The Alliance organizes fundraising events for its parent organization, Washington Wild, hosts educational activities, and… wait for it… brews beer. And that’s what we are talking about today.
You’re invited to pledge your support by drinking beer. On Wednesday, November 12th, the Brewshed Alliance releases its annual collaboration beer, Public Lands Pub Ale. Event details below. The beer was brewed at Bizarre Brewing in Seattle last month. That’s where they’ll hold the release party. The beer was brewed with hops and grains donated by Roy Farms, Linc Malt, and Cold Stream Malt. Also, with bigleaf maple syrup. To top it off, all the ingredients used in the beer are Salmon Safe.

“Public Lands Pub Ale is a collaboration between 85 Washington breweries and beer industry businesses to defend our public lands,” says Chris Chappell, Brewshed Alliance Director. “These wildlands and waterways provide us with clean water for brewing, healthy ecosystems, and abundant recreation opportunities. Threats like public lands selloff, repeal of the Roadless Rule, and defunding of agencies pose serious risks to these wild places.”
At the release event, along with enjoying the beer, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about how Washington Wild and the Brewshed® Alliance are working to protect our public lands. They’ll pour Public Lands Pub Ale on tap and also offer cans to go. Local musicians will provide toe-tapping old-time tunes from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
