The free event takes place on Thursday, June 26h at Ounces Taproom and Beer Garden in West Seattle.
Ounces Taproom and Beer Garden is hosting a special event featuring beers from brewery members of the Pink Boots Society, a night market with products from women-owned businesses, and more. Ladies Strong! showcases the strength of local women in our community.
The Pink Boots Society is an organization that aims to assist, inspire and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education. Many Seattle area breweries are members of the local Pink Boots chapter.
“Join us for a night showcasing local women,” said the event announcement. “Sip beer brewed by women, buy/browse goods in our ‘made by women’ market and meet talented women in sports from our local WS Rhodies FC Soccer Team! We’ve partnered with the Pink Boots Society, West Seattle Rhodies FC and over 20+ local women-owned businesses for a special night celebrating amazing, talented and inspiring women in our community!”
The kid- and dog-friendly event is free to attend and offers:
- Beer Brewed by Women! Courtesy of Pink Boots Society and its members.
- WS Rhodies FC – Meet pre-pro USL W players, coaches & the women-owned leadership team behind the club.
- Tunes from 6-8 p.m., spun by local DJ/Realtor/former pro squash player Annelize Naude.
- Night Market from 5-8 p.m. featuring products from local women-owned businesses and entrepreneurs (vendor list below).
- Free giveaways at 7 p.m.
