Ounces Taproom and Beer Garden in West Seattle presents its three-day Oktoberfest celebration from October 6th through 8th. They’ve partnered with some great local breweries to serve Washington-brewed Oktoberfest Beers. Breweries like Aslan Brewing, Reuben’s Brews, Jellyfish Brewing, Future Primitive Brewing, Hellbent Brewing, Georgetown Brewing, Dru Bru, Stoup Brewing, Black Raven Brewing, and others.
But there’s more to it than that. Like food and fun, live music, and more. Here are some of the details.
FOOD: Start with a GIANT fresh-baked, Bavarian-style pretzel, then chow down on tasty brats, Polish sausages, and hot dogs courtesy of Grey Coast Dogs. Finish with a donut dessert from Dough Joy (including a special Oktoberfest donut.)
LIVE MUSIC: Bonnie Birch Trio on Friday from 6:00 – 8:00. Oompah Machine on Saturday, 3:00 – 6:00. Smilin’ Scandinavians on Sunday, 2:00 – -5:00.

STEIN RAISE COMPETITIONS:
How long can you hold a full liter Stein? Come find out! It’s an Oktoberfest Tradition: the stein-raise contest. Just show up at one of the following competition times to participate: Friday at 6:30, Saturday at 6:309, or Sunday at 4:00.
COSTUME CONTEST:
Saturday at 5:00. Bust out your lederhosen & dirndl and bring some Bavarian flare! The free contest starts at 5pm (ish). They’ll make an announcement for those who want to participate. Winners will be chosen by crowd response. There will be prizes.
