Obec Brewing Invites Everyone to Sing Along, January 15th

In previous posts, I’ve mentioned that breweries and taprooms need to create occasions. The beer is still really important, but nowadays more than ever, a brewery needs to make its taproom a destination for reasons beyond the beer. Obec Brewing in Seattle’s Ballard Brewery District is doing that with an upcoming event. You don’t need experience singing with a choir. You just need a voice and a willingness to use it. They’ll direct you through the rest. Join the One Night Choir! Check it out.

Thurs Jan 15, 7:00-9:00 PM

We’re thrilled to host our very first One Night Choir at Obec Brewing!

One Night Choir is a joyful, low-pressure group singing experience where everyone is welcome — no auditions, no solos, and no experience required. Over the course of a single evening, you’ll learn and sing “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus together, guided by a talented choir leader who breaks the song down into simple, sing-along-friendly parts.

Come early to grab a beer, settle in, and then lift your voice alongside a room full of friendly strangers-turned-choir. Whether you’re a seasoned singer or someone who just loves belting it out in the car, this is all about connection, community, and the magic of making music together.

Ages 21+ | Beer, cider, wine, and non-alcoholic options available
No preparation needed — just bring yourself and your voice!
