Reuben’s Brews releases next beer in the Farm Team series.

Back in February, we introduced you to the Farm Team program. It’s a series of beers from Reuben’s Brews created in collaboration with PCC Community Markets and farmers from around the region. The beers are designed to showcase the terroir of the Pacific Northwest. Reuben’s Brews just announced the arrival of the next beer in the series. Here’s the release news straight from the brewery:

A TASTE OF THE NORTHWEST

FARM TEAM #3 FEATURES COMET HOPS AND CASCADIA PILSNER MALT

Farm Team is a collaboration series between Reuben’s Brews, PCC Community Markets, and the great farmers of the Pacific Northwest brewed to highlight the unique terroir of our region. This beer features just a single hop and a single malt to best showcase the outstanding work hop and malt growers bring to our industry. The Cold Pale Ale style allows the full brightness of the hops to shine on a crisp and clean base which also highlights the unique character of Pacific Northwest malts.

For the spring edition of this beer we used estate-grown Comet hops from Crosby Hops in Oregon, and Cascadia Pilsner malt made from LCS Genie barley grown in Idaho by Clearwater Farms.

We’re also proud of the fact that Farm Team #3 is a Salmon-Safe beer, meaning that both the hops and the malts are certified by the Portland-based nonprofit of the same name, an organization dedicated to protecting West Coast watersheds. For more information about each of the two farms, visit the Farm Team website

Find Farm Team #3 on shelves at PCC Community Markets, in our Taproom, and at bottle shops and stores across the Pacific Northwest very soon.
