Reopening Event on June 13th

Last month, we shared news that one of the owners of Temperate Habits Brewing (Katie King) had taken over the business ops at North Sound Brewing. Kurt and Lori Ahrens, who founded North Sound Brewing in 2010, decided it was time to take a step toward retirement after running the brewery for 15 years. Katie stepped in to ensure North Sound Brewing carried on, which came as a relief to the brewery’s loyal fanbase. So, in summary, North Sound Brewing is now operated by Temperate Habits Brewing

Today, we share news of a Grand Reopening at North Sound Brewing. The soiree on Saturday, June 13th starts at noon and runs until 8 p.m. Along with the beer, the event will feature burgers from the Smash Daddy’s food truck and live music all day long. Chris Eger will headline the show, performing from 6-8 p.m.

“Come celebrate the Grand Reopening of North Sound Brewing in Mount Vernon, WA on Saturday June 13, now operated by Temperate Habits Brewing,” said the brewery on social media. “We are featuring live music by Andrew Sweeting, DCO Music and headlines by Chris Eger! We will also have on site: Smash Daddy’s Burgers!”
