After seven years, maybe you’re still wondering what the word means and what’s behind the name, Métier Brewing. The French word “métier” translates to “trade, craft, or profession,” but for Métier Brewing Company, it means more than that. The term speaks to something more profound: a calling and a sense of purpose. It refers to the kind of passion that drives a person to create, build, and share something meaningful with the community. (Image above from Facebook.)

Join Métier Brewing as it marks its seventh anniversary June 3rd through 8th. “Since day one, MBC has been rooted in that calling,” said the anniversary announcement from the brewery. “Yes, we’re committed to brewing damn good beer—but that’s only part of the story. Métier also means pouring love into storytelling, community building, and celebrating culture. It means taking pride in who we are and what we stand for.”

“Now, as we celebrate seven years of Métier Brewing in Woodinville and three years at Cherry Street [in Seattle], we’re reflecting on how far we’ve come. We’ve refined our craft, expanded our impact, and stayed grounded in our mission: to brew #damngoodbeer and build stronger community to inspire bigger dreams for all.”

Métier Brewing celebrates its seventh anniversary at the brewery in Woodinville and the taproom in Seattle. “We’re celebrating the community, creativity, and craft. We’ve got limited-edition beers, music, food pop-ups, merch sales, and more happening at both of our taprooms. Come raise a glass with us because you’re part of this story too.”
