Melvin Brewing & Wander Brewing team up for the 20 Days of Beer Week

Bellingham Beer Week officially starts on April 21st, but Wander Brewing and Melvin Brewing, which is in the process of building a brewery in the ‘ham, wanted to get an early start. In their minds, there should be 20 Days of Beer Week. The two breweries teamed up to brew a collaborative brew, an imperial red ale that will be released on April 14th.

In case you don’t know already, Melvin is an award-winning brewery located in Jackson, Wyoming. Not long ago, they won the coveted Alpha King award at the GABF, a prize given to the top hop-heavy brewery of the year. Like I said, they are currently working on opening a new brewery in Bellingham. For this beer, Melvin teamed up with Wander Brewing of Bellingham, which has won its share of awards too, and created what sounds like a very hoppy imperial red ale. The specs for the beer can be found in the press release below.

They’ll kick off 20 Days of Beer Week on April 14th, with special tapping events at Brouwer’s Cafe in Seattle and Elizabeth Station in Bellingham. More info about those events, and the beer’s general availability can also be found in the press release.
