May at Lucky Envelope: 8th anniversary, beer releases, and events

Congratulations on eight years of great beer, awards, and other accolades. Seattle’s Lucky Envelope Brewing will mark its 8th anniversary with beer releases and an all-day celebration at the brewery’s taproom on Saturday, May 6th.

Anniversary Beer Releases:

Gr8 Friends Tropical Pilsner – 4.8% ABV – Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery was our first-ever collaboration back in 2015 and we were honored to brew with them again for our eighth-anniversary celebration. We started with a base Czech Pilsner recipe but fermented it with Omega’s thiolized Lunar Crush lager strain. The resulting beer is unlike anything we’ve tasted before, showcasing juicy tropical fruit derived solely from the yeast with a light cracker-like malt background. We taste passion fruit, guava, muscadine grapes, and ripe peach that lift quickly off your palate leaving you thirsty for another sip. Available on Draft Only

Party Like Citra Birthday Hazy IPA (6.8% ABV) – We’re thankful you’re here to celebrate our 8th birthday with us! In Chinese culture the number 8 is the luckiest of numbers and symbolizes prosperity, which we wish upon you. Our 8th-anniversary beer is brewed with loads of namesake Citra in Lupomax, Spectrum, and T90 forms. A special guest hop appearance by experimental USDA Elite Line 008 for an extra touch of fortune.
