Machine House Brewery celebrates its 10th Anniversary on April 22

10TH ANNIVERSARY PARTY – SATURDAY APRIL 22 – NOON-10pm.
3 SPECIAL ANNIVERSARY BEER RELEASES. MUSIC, FOOD, CASK ALE!

As we shared in a previous post, later this spring Seattle’s Machine House Brewery will relocate, vacating its location in Georgetown and moving a few miles away to the Hillman City neighborhood. But before that day gets here, there’s time for a party at the current location. Machine House invites you to help it commemorate the 10-year milestone.

“We don’t usually make a big deal about anniversaries, but 10 feels like a significant one especially as we are about to move out of our building,” said Bill Arnott, the founder of Machine House Brewery. “To make it 10 years producing and serving cask ales here in Seattle is pretty cool and there’s probably a few people that didn’t think we would last this long.”

Since its inception, Machine House Brewery has focused almost exclusively on producing and serving real ale, cask-conditioned ale like you might find on draught in a traditional English pub. Beyond a collaboration project now and then, Bill Arnott’s brewery does not create fizzy beer.

“A lot of good times and a lot of hard and bad ones too, especially the last few years,” said Bill on Instagram. “I’m grateful for all the people who have worked here or been involved in our little community over the years, and to everyone that has embraced what we do here. Thanks to everyone that has enjoyed drinking our beer. Looking forward to the new improved phase of Machine House coming up in Hillman City (coming soon, promise…)”

“We have 3 new anniversary beers to share with you next week, and otherwise we will have some live jazz, Dj Brownstone playing some records, and hopefully a food truck. It will be a nice time with some pints of beer. Cheers!”
