Once again, several breweries around the Pacific Northwest are stepping up for Pride Month and have released (or will release) special beers for Pride. Also, there are some beer-and-Pride events happening. Many of these beers and events support non-profits and other community organizations. I will update this list as I learn about additional beers. Send info via email or DM me on Instagram or Facebook. Most of the images and descriptions were pinched from Instagram.
PRIDE EVENTS
Stoup Brewing – June 21st and 22nd
Stoup Brewing is hosting two Pride events that I want to tell you about. One is at the Capitol Hill taproom on the night of Saturday, June 21st. The other is an afternoon Tea Dance on Sunday, June 22nd at the taproom in Ballard. At both events, you are encouraged to dance and celebrate with some of Stoup Brewing’s favorite drag queens. The Capitol Hill show is 18+ but the Ballard event is family friendly. Read more here.
Beveridge Place Pub – June 19th
Beveridge Place Pub in West Seattle is having a pride beer event on Thursday, June 19th. “We’ll be featuring Pride Beers,” the pub said on social. “A wide range of tasty brews made by local breweries to support the LGBTQ community. In addition to the funds they have committed to local organizations, we’ll be donating a dollar a pint to Seattle’s Lambert House.”
Aslan Brewing – July 10th
Drag at the Aslan Depot. It’s never too late to celebrate Pride. Join us for our free quarterly drag show on Thursday, July 10th, from 8 to 10 PM, hosted by the one and only Mx. Expect fierce performances, big personalities, and a night full of fun and community. Plus, $1 from every Aslan beer and hop water poured will go directly to NWYS Queer Youth Services, supporting local LGBTQ+ youth. Come for the show, stay for the cause, and keep the spirit of Pride alive all summer long!
PRIDE BEERS
Georgetown Brewing – Shelly’s Leg IPA

Georgetown named this beer to honor Shelly’s Leg, Seattle’s first disco and one of the pioneering gay businesses in the city. Shelly’s Leg opened in 1973. Though it was closed because of a fire after only a few years, Shelly’s Leg is legendary. Proceeds from Shelly’s Leg IPA will benefit Lavender Rights Project, an organization committed to providing social and legal advocacy for Black gender diverse people across Washington state.
Reuben’s Brews – Crikey Pride

“Once again, for the month of June, we’re showing our support for this important cause by giving our most popular beer—Crikey IPA—a redesign that reflects the diverse spectrum of human sexuality and gender. Look for Pride Crikey cans on a shelf near you and know that a portion of the proceeds will help Seattle Pride with its mission to create unity, honor diversity, and achieve equal human rights here in the PNW and beyond.”
Postdoc Brewing – More Love IPA

“Today, more than ever, the world needs more love! Pride doesn’t only start today, nor does it end in 30 days. We want our LGBTQ+ community to feel safe, welcomed, and included at both of our taprooms every single day. There is still work to be done in society to ensure these communities and individuals can live freely and safely as themselves. We strive for spaces and events where anyone can advocate and hold their LGBTQ+ rights! More Love IPA is available on draft and in 16oz 4-packs at both taprooms today!”
Fremont Brewing – Pride, Kolsch-Style Ale

A portion of proceeds help support the GSBA, Washington’s Largest LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce. Available on draft and in 4-packs.
Stoup Brewing – Rainbow Bubbles IPA and Paraderade IPA

Rainbow Bubbles: “Feast your eyes on a giddy dance of bubbles in every color of the rainbow and enjoy this moderately dry, extremely crushable beer. We raise a glass of Rainbow Bubbles IPA to equality, compassion, and the incredible gift of loving people for who they are. Proceeds from this year’s beer support Lavender Rights Project in their mission to build a world in which the Black and Indigenous gender diverse communities are at the forefront of liberation.”
Paraderade IPA: “We brewed this beer to help fuel the passion for equality and acceptance and also to just have some fun together. While Pride is much more than a parade, we still love a good march down the street. Think of this beer as fuel for your Pride parade!”
Flying Lion Brewing – Ripe with Pride Pale

The annual Ripe with Pride Pale is ON TAP! This year’s edition was brewed with Cherry and a touch of Lime. This beer is as beautiful as the cause it supports. $3 / pint will be donated to the @trevorproject to support the work they do helping LGBTQ+ young people. Available only at our taproom, come visit!
Cloudburst Brewing – Pure Possibilities IPA

This WEDNESDAY JUNE 4th we’d love for you to come through Shilshole for our Pure Possibility IPA release. This year, we’ve teamed up with artist Monyee Chau to design the label! AND, they’ll be showing some of their work on Wednesday in the Shilshole tasting room for a couple weeks! They’ve also chosen the Trans Women of Color Solidarity Network as their non-profit of choice, and we will be donating proceeds from our tasting room sales to their admirable organization! And to top it all off, @eatdrinknance will be playing a set in the beer garden from 6-7pm! This beer is bright, positive, and juicy – thanks to lots of Citra hops, plus a lil Cascade & Idaho 7 – but that doesn’t mean everything is all unicorns and tangerines these days.
Logan Brewing – Heart of Gold

Heart of Gold is a strawberry-mango blonde ale. It’s Logan Brewing’s annual pride beer. It was released on Saturday, May 31st as part of the kickoff celebration for Burien Pride. The brewery shuts down the street out front for the celebration each year. Get the beer at either of Logan Brewing’s taprooms (Burien and Kent).
Old Stove Brewing – Lagers of Love

This June, we’re raising a glass to love, inclusion, and community. In celebration of Pride Month, we’ll donate $1 from every Old Stove Pilsner* sold across all Old Stove locations to Lavender Rights Project. Sip with purpose and help us support the people and causes that make our community stronger.
Rooftop Brewing – King of the Chill

We know we’re late rolling out our Pride beer this year. The tragic murder of Jonathan Joss stopped us in our tracks. This month, we’re dedicating our latest version of King of the Chill to Jonathan’s memory — and turning our Pride efforts into action. A portion of the proceeds from the beer and our Pride shirts will go to @queertheland, a local queer and trans BIPOC-led housing and land justice collective. Pride is joy — but it’s also protest, grief, and love in action. We’re proud to stand with Queer the Land and to honor Jonathan’s life with something tangible.
Dru Bru – Rainbow Rodeo

“Saddle up, because there is a new beer in town! Introducing; Rainbow Rodeo, a huckleberry hazy pale ale. We rounded up a herd of huckleberries to give this beer a surge of fragrant aromas, taste, and a punchy color. With a smooth, balanced profile, it is juicy, refreshing, and full of flavor.” Rainbow Rodeo benefits Kittitas County Pride in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Now available exclusively at Dru Bru’s taprooms, on draft and in cans, for a limited time.
Future Primitive Brewing – Queer Beer IPA

Now available on tap and in cans at both Future Primitive Brewing taprooms. The official beer of White Center Pride, with proceeds benefiting that organization.
Good Society Brewery – Hella Pride Helles

We wholeheartedly support all of our LGBTQ+ friends, their rights, and their pursuit of happiness. While this is true July through May, Pride Month is a time we can explicitly call that out. As such, as we do each June, we are supporting @pridefdn . While our production schedule is a bit off, look for Hella Pride Helles later this month!
Aslan Brewing – B Proud Hazy IPA

“We’re stoked that B Proud is back for its seventh year in a row. This Hazy IPA has an aromatic punch of pineapple and grapefruit. Flavors of apricot, pine, grapefruit pith, and sweet orange shine through a smooth body bolstered by a high percentage of wheat. A drying bitterness balances the fuller mouthfeel, creating a beautifully balanced IPA.” Proceeds benefit NW Youth Services and its Queer Youth Services.
El Sueñito Brewing – Un Poco Gay

“Un Poco Gay Hazy IPA, is a Pride beer crafted to honor the vibrant, diverse tapestry of our queer community.” El Suenito Brewing operates two locations: the brewery/taproom/tamale shop in
Bellingham and the restaurant/taproom in Seattle.
Jellyfish Brewing – LGBeerTQ Rye Pale

“Enjoy being fabulous while you sip away on this delightfully gay beer! No need to be mindful and demure here, though all are welcome. Smooth and malty, with a spicy rye character. Designed & brewed by our own Gem with pride, for Pride.” ABV 5.3% IBU 33.
Bale Breaker Brewing – Sparklehaze IPA

Happy Pride Month! We’ve just tapped Lady Sparklehaze Hazy IPA at both taprooms – $1 per pint of this beer will be donated to @yakimapride to assist in their mission of driving positive change for the LGBTQ+ community in the Yakima Valley and Central Washington. Try it throughout the month of June at either taproom!
Yoked Farmhouse Brewery – Rainbow Haze IPA

Rainbow Haze is a delicious hazy IPA, as beautiful and unique as you are. Golden promise & Pilsner malts give this ale a lovely medium body while Chinook, Citra and Mosiac hops give it that extra hoppy pineapple punch. 6.5% ABV. 26 IBUs. Come enjoy a flight today! We’re open every day from 9am -8pm
Moonshot Brewing – Brewed This Way ’25

“This annual beer release was brewed as a blonde ale with Mango, creating a tropical treat! A portion of proceeds from the sale of this beer will be donated to BFPFLAG and Tri City Pride Fest!”
Burke-Gilman Brewing – No Closets

“We brought out our pride month beer a bit early this year, cause it was ready and it’s never too early for pride. Julia does this pale ale every year, and this year’s really is a banger. Bright copper with a frothy white head. Grapefruit, floral, pine on the nose, candied orange, pine resin, strawberry on the palate. Light-bodied with a crisp, bitter finish.”
Single Hill Brewing – Empress, Mother, Rebel… Hazy IPA

A beer to benefit Yakima Pride. “For the third consecutive year, our fantastic partners at Single Hill Brewing have launched their annual Pride Month collaboration brew, “Empress, Mother, Rebel (E.M.R.) – Reinas y Revolucionaries / Queens & Revolutionaries,” and Yakima Pride is incredibly honored to continue as the community partner!”
Hellbent Brewing – Pride and NO Prejudice West Coast Pilsner

“Let your flags fly and celebrate Pride! Well, maybe a different kind of pride than what the Jane Austen novel was referring to, but the message still resonates in a different context. We’ve released our Pride and NO Prejudice West Coast Pilsner! Happy Pride, y’all! On tap and in cans to go.”
Iron Goat Brewing – Lily’s Lezbrew

“We’re supporting and celebrating this month with the release a new beer, and through the month of June $1 of each pour sold is being donated to Spectrum Center Spokane. Available on tap starting today is Lily’s Lezbrew Version 4: Black Cherry Limeade Kettle Sour. An American-style sour made with black cherry and lime purée, it’s loaded with juicy and floral fruity flavor and just enough sweetness to balance out the sour. This beer was the brainchild of our bartender Lily (seen above) who assisted in its making for the 4th year in a row.” 5% ABV | 16 IBU
Ladd & Lass Brewing – Rainbow Fabulous

Rainbow Fabulous Hazy IPA / 6.7% ABV. This bright, hoppy concoction is a delightful melody of HBC 1019, Cryo Citra, and Cryo Krush. Rainbow Fabulous is brewed in celebration of Pride. The name, inspired by The Fabulous Rainbow Tavern that occupied our space from 1973 to 1986, is a loud and emphatic proclamation that we all deserve love and dignity. A portion of proceeds from this beer will be donated to Lamber House to help fund their mission of safeguarding and uplifting LGBTQIA+ youth.
Spada Farmhouse Brewery – Pride Purple Haze.

Pride Purple Haze is a milkshake IPA with Ube and Coconut.
