Ladd & Lass Brewing (L&L) is celebrating its 2nd anniversary on the first two Saturdays in January. The brewery, located in Seattle’s University District neighborhood, took over the space previously occupied by Floating Bridge Brewing and quickly established itself on the local beer scene, earning the admiration of fellow brewers and beer lovers alike.

Nick Ladd and Jessie Quan, founders of Ladd & Lass Brewing.

Ladd & Lass has won awards, participated in some great collab projects, and contributed to local charities. In their own words, Year 2 was an incredible year that saw L&L bring home 9 medals, place in the Top 21 of the Alpha King Challenge, participate in 8 collabs, and donate over $6,000 to charitable causes—among other memorable milestones. Though the L&L team is small, we are mighty in our passion for the Craft Beer community and can’t wait to celebrate with everyone who has supported us over the past two years.”

Barleywine Day Saturday, 1/6 // 12pm-10pm
Featuring L&L’s very first bottled offering, Barrel-aged Year 1, partygoers will also be treated to Cellared Year 1 and Year 2 on Barleywine Day. To commemorate the occasion, we will be offering a taproom-exclusive flight
of all three barleywines. Oskar’s Pizza and Lá Liath Bakery will be plying us with their savory and sweet treats, respectively. Toady Town, who many might remember from last year’s anniversary party, will be back with his
one-of-a-kind tiny paintings.

Stout Day Saturday, 1/13 // 12pm-10pm
On tap will be Short Days Dark Nights, which beer fest goers may already be familiar with. For Stout Day, we will be quadrupling the fun with four taproom-exclusive, bottled variants of SDDN: Coffee & Hazelnut, Mexican Hot Chocolate, Peanut & Cacao, and Smoked Cherry. Tabassum Hand Pies and Sweet Dream Bakes will be treating us to savory and sweet eats, respectively. And Toady Town will be back for a second round of custom tiny paintings.
