Ladd & Lass Brewing announces plans to celebrate its third anniversary

Join Ladd & Lass Brewing (L&L) on January 10th and 11th as it marks its third anniversary. For the brewery in Seattle’s University District, 2024 proved a momentous year. A message from the brewery said, “Year three was an incredible year that saw L&L bring home 7 medals,  win Single Hill’s Hop Rodeo, land on Craft Beer and Brewing’s The Best 20 Beer in 2024, participate in 11 collabs, and donate over $6,000 to charitable causes—among other memorable milestones. Though the L&L  team is small, they are mighty in their passion for Craft Beer and cannot wait to celebrate with the community  who has supported them over the past three years.”

“The festivities will flow with barleywine, amongst other delicious offerings. Partygoers will be able to enjoy a taproom-exclusive flight of four barleywines, which will include a barrel-aged barleywine from L&L’s first anniversary. This year’s celebration also features L&L’s very first-anniversary collaboration—a hoppy Czech pils brewed with the good folx at Lowercase Brewing.”

Anniversary Beer Releases:

  • Barrel-aged Year 1 // Barrel-aged English Barleywine. Available on draft and in bottles (while supplies last).
  • Year 2 // English Barleywine. Limited Release. Available only on draft.

  • Year 3 // English Barleywine. Limited Release. Available only on draft.
  • Czech Your Valves // Hoppy Czech Pils. [In collaboration with our friends at Lowercase Brewing]
Available on draft and in cans.
  • Gravity Cask Czech Your Valves // Kvasnicové Pivo. [In collaboration with our friends at Lowercase Brewing]. Limited Release. Available only on draft. Kvasnicové Pivo [kvahss-NEET-so-veh PEE-vo], literally “yeast beer”, is a specific preparation that involves adding yeast or fermenting wort to fully lagered beer (called krausening in Germany) right before kegging. For our Kvasnicové Pivo, we added a touch of actively fermenting wort that was brewed by our pals at Lowercase Brewing.

And More

“Good food and fun will accompany the good cheer. Georgia’s Greek will be at the taproom on Friday, 1/10, from  5–8pm and Los Papis Comida Mexicana joins the party on Saturday, 1/11, from 3–7pm. Toady Town will be at  the taproom on Saturday, 1/11, from 2–6pm for a third year of custom tiny paintings. And for those wanting to  show off their own creative prowess, there will be a coloring contest with People’s Choice Voting taking place  1/15/2025 through 1/24/2025.”
