Are you looking for holiday fun in Seattle with or without the kids? Consider a visit to Kringle’s Filling Station. It’s an immersive Christmas experience in the Green Lake/Aurora neighborhood with plenty of Instagram moments, slot cars, ski-ball, and more. There’s even a beer component. Seattle’s own Urban Family Brewing supplies the beer for a series of “after dark” events at Kringle’s on December 13, 14, 20, and 21 from 9:00-11:00. Below I share details about Kringle’s Filling Station and the after-dark events.

Kringle’s Filling Station is a handmade Christmas attraction in the Green Lake / Aurora neighborhood. Since it debuted in 2021, it has become something of a local tradition. Designed and built by Analog Heart Creative Studio, Kringle’s is a magical gas station where hot cocoa flows from gas pumps. With slot car racing, themed “Ski-Ball,” storytelling spaces depicting the Kringle family history, and immersive photo opportunities, it’s a memorable holiday destination.”

“Part of the story is that the Kringles build Santa’s sleigh every year. Each installation of Kringle’s has featured a different sleigh in the garage on site, and Santa’s sleigh this year is a one-of-a-kind photo op. There’s also an up-side down fireplace photo op housed in a shipping container. Santa Claus will be at Kringle’s on select dates, check their website for more information.”

“This year, Kringle’s Filling Station is also hosting four “After Dark” nights on December 13, 14, 20 & 21 from 9-11 pm. These will be packed with live entertainment, music, and street performers, with beer provided by Urban Family Brewing, spiked hot chocolate, and food trucks. The proceeds from the alcohol sales will benefit four nonprofit organizations dedicated to uplifting Aurora Ave: REST, Aurora Reimagined Coalition, Aurora Commons, and For North Seattle.” Get info and tickets here.
