Kicks off today! Barleywine Bacchanal, now old enough to drink itself

West Seattle’s Beveridge Place Pub kicks off the 21st Barleywine Bacchanal today. It’s a four-day celebration of the biggest of all beer styles. As it has since the good old days, the Bacchanal offers beer lovers an amazing array of barleywines from breweries near and far, dedicating 24 taps to barleywine. You know, because they can. These burly beers are offered in design-your-own taster flights. (Photo above by Mark B. Bauschke.)

Don’t like barleywine? No worries, Beveridge Place Pub will have plenty of other tasty, less-brawny beers on tap too. Below we share the opening day lineup, but things will change as the weekend progresses, so keep an eye on the Beverage Place Pub’s Facebook page or Instagram feed to stay up to date.

It kicks off today when the pub opens at 3:00 and runs through the entire weekend.
