The “Keeping it Coastal” Brewfest is scheduled for Saturday, August 9th in Westport, Washington. The event will feature craft beer from Washington and Oregon. Westport Brewing Company is helping organize the event, which will benefit the local VFW and its agencies.
The folks at Westport Brewing contacted me and would like me to share some information with you about an upcoming beer festival on the Washington coast. This is primarily a call for breweries interested in participating. If you are interested in participating in a beer festival on the Washington coast, during the summer, see the information below.

Westport’s VFW invites you to celebrate their 73rd birthday in style. We are hosting a micro beer fest uniting brewers from Washington and Oregon. Come enjoy the Westport and Grays Harbor coastal community while promoting your talents and brew in peak season with fellow beer lovers.
Event held on VFW grounds featuring inside and outside space, music, food vendors and entertainment. Open at 1:00 pm, last pour at 8:00 pm.
Our focus will be promoting your craft brews in a fun community setting. This event is in fundraiser style benefiting James H. Doolittle VFW and its agencies. The club will be open and serving all day as well, with a membership drive on site. VFW will purchase 2 – ½ barrels of 2 styles of your choice from each vendor, bring ½ barrel back up if you wish.
Brewers bring:
Your own pour person, co2, taps, you’ll collect tickets for tasters. You are welcome to bring give away items and sell promotional clothing, hats etc. Selling or giving away drinking glasses, growlers, cans or bottles is prohibited.
2 – ½ barrels of 2 styles of your choice from each vendor, bring ½ barrel back up if you wish. These will be purchased by VFW, you provide server.
Party favors, booth signage and decorations. People’s choice awards for the “funnest” booth. We’ll leave that to your imagination! Clothing required!!
Organizers Provide:
10 X 10 space available for each brewery, your tent with logo welcome
Refrigeration, ice and tub
1 table and 2 chairs for each vendor
4 complimentary passes + 4 tastes for your serving crew
Be a part of the fun while supporting a good cause, fill in the signup sheet and register as soon as possible to insure your space. Your early commitment to this event is important for planning and promotion. Deadline will be June 10th 2014. Please call if you need more information for publicity purposes.
