Iron Goat Brewing is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary on Saturday, June 4th at its brewery and taproom in Spokane. The event will include beer, food, and music. The $5 entry fee includes a commemorative pint glass and all proceeds benefit 2nd Harvest Food Bank.
The first time I visited Iron Goat Brewing in Spokane, it was across town. The original spot was a cozy affair, located in a rather well-worn neighborhood in East Spokane. Let’s call it a bit rough around the edges. In 2016, Iron Goat Brewing moved across town to the West Side neighborhood, opening a beautiful new brewery and taproom in a historic building on Second Avenue.
For most of you, that “new” location is probably the only Iron Goat you’ve ever known. So why bring it up? Because it speaks to how far the brewery has come in 10 years. Movin’ on up, as they say.
Since opening a decade ago, Iron Goat Brewing has earned a reputation for its excellent beers. I’m especially fond of their big, burly beers. Join them Saturday, June 4th to hoist a pint of something tasty.
