A familiar brewery in Kingston, Washington now has new owners.
The new company’s social media channels and website are still coming together, but the transfer is complete: new owners have taken over Downpour Brewing in Kingston, Washington. Below, I share what information I uncovered on social media about this change. Also, a bit about Friends and Neighbors Brewing.
“After almost 11 incredible years, we’re closing this chapter,” said a final message from Downpour Brewing on social media. “What started as a dream grew into something bigger than we could have imagined, and that’s because of all of you — our friends, family, customers, and community. You supported us, celebrated with us, and helped make this place so much more than just a business.
“It’s not easy to say goodbye, but we feel nothing but gratitude for the memories, the laughs, the hard work, and the friendships built along the way.”
“From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for being part of this journey. We’re leaving you in good hands as Rob and Kathy will be taking over and keeping the Downpour spirit alive with Friends and Neighbors Brewing.”
Then, one of the new owners posted this message: “We are excited to present Friends and Neighbors Brewing in the former Downpour Brewing location in Kingston. We are thankful for the incredible community support we’ve received so far, and look forward to many years of serving the North Kitsap community and beyond!”
“We especially want to thank Dan Williams and his family for building such a welcoming environment and for their years of serving beer and so much more.”
