A trip to the San Juan Islands is a reward unto itself. Add a beer fest into the mix and you’ve got a weekend of can’t-miss fun and adventure. Next month, Hops on the Rocks celebrates its seventh year, and you are invited.

The main event takes place on Saturday, November 11th, but the larger experience is spread out across the entire weekend. The beer festival and other events take place in and around Eastsound, Washington on Orcas Island. The event is outside under a big tent. No dogs or children are allowed (21+).

“It’s grown into a very fun event that spans the weekend,” says Becca Gray, one of the event organizers, who is also one of the co-owners of Island Hoppin’ Brewery on Orcas Island. “Because the breweries are making the venture to the island, we connect them to different bars, restaurants, and pubs to host smaller events throughout the weekend, like brewers nights, tasting events, and beer-pairing dinners. It not only helps the breweries but it also gives guests more things to do across the weekend.”
