TREAD IPA luau in Wenatchee on Friday, June 30th.

Hellbent Brewing operates a brewery and taproom in Seattle, but it also operates a satellite taproom in Wenatchee at the Prybus Public Market. The brewery is working with a Wenatchee-based nonprofit to create a new beer, an event, and a way for you to support the cause. TREAD IPA, and the upcoming release luau, benefit TREAD‘s mission to enhance and protect outdoor recreation spaces in Douglas and Chelan counties.

TREAD IPA will be available at both the Seattle and Wenatchee taprooms. The official release luau takes place at the Wenatchee taproom on Friday, June 30th. Each 6-pack of TREAD IPA includes a TREAD sticker so you can show your support. Also, a QR code on the cans directs you to the TREAD app where you’ll find all sorts of information about outdoor recreation opportunities across Washington.

The announcement from Hellbent Brewing says, “The Taproom and local non-profit TREAD have been “brewing” up something special! Join us Friday, June 30th for a special beer release luau of TREAD’s Indian Pale Ale. $1 per pint sold for this evening and throughout July will be donated to TREAD! Doors open at 4:30pm at the Pybus Public Market Event Center.”

It’s a luau so bring your appetite and dress for the occasion. The taproom will serve up a menu of Hawaiian-inspired cuisine.

“Supporting TREAD is as easy as drinking a nice, clean, crisp IPA,” says Hellbent Brewing. “Like most folks in Washington, we at Hellbent love the great outdoors, and no matter where you live in our state, there is nature to be enjoyed. That’s why we partnered with our friends at TREAD, who are constantly working hard to make sure those outdoor recreation opportunities are preserved, maintained, and available to all.”

“TREAD IPA is brewed and dry hopped with Amarillo, Simcoe, and Citra hops…all grown in Washington! This summertime IPA packs a big, citrusy punch with a light, piney bitterness at the finish.”

“Hellbent is donating to TREAD to keep those trails open and sustainable. Every 12oz 6-pack will have 1 can with a TREAD sticker to show support. Don’t forget to pack out what you pack in.”
