40+ breweries come together for an uncommon collab fest
On Friday, August 8th, Brick West Brewing in Spokane hosts the 4th annual GRAINMAKER Fest. Presented by LINC Malt and Cold Stream Malt & Grain, this is a one-of-a-kind beer festival. It will feature unlimited taster pours, a commemorative tasting glass, live BBQ, and a vibrant outdoor beer garden in downtown Spokane. It is a 21+ event, but children are allowed on the premises.
GRAINMAKER is a collaborative beer festival featuring more than 20 beers brewed by collaboration teams from breweries across the Western United States. The brewery teams have created beers highlighting the Pacific Northwest’s rich agricultural heritage. The event coincides with a gathering of over 50 breweries that come to Spokane for the grain harvest.
“GRAINMAKER is more than a beer fest,” says Brian Estes of LINC Malt. “It’s a tribute to the farmers, maltsters, and brewers who make this region so special. It’s about coming together to celebrate collaboration, agriculture, and great beer.”
Collaboration Teams
Participating breweries include familiar, esteemed Pacific Northwest breweries like Holy Mountain Brewing, pFriem Family Brewers, Ale Song Brewing and Blending, Fair Isle Brewing, Stoup Brewing, and others. From farther afield, participants include other breweries from the Western U.S., like Bottle Logic Brewing, Harlan Brewing, 8-Bit Aleworks, Faction Brewing, Seek Beer Co., and others.
