A Lager-Focused Beer Fest in Sunnyside, WA
Each year, in the spring, Varietal Beer Company hosts GoatFest. The event is across the street at Centennial Square. They’ve done it for several years now. The festival originally celebrated the season with Bock-style beers from select Northwest breweries. Last year, they expanded beyond Bock and added Helles-style lagers to the mix, too. Now, lager-style beers in general are the focus.
It’s an invitational event featuring some of Varietal Beer Company’s favorite lager breweries on the West Coast and beyond. The list, shared below, is impressive and is likely to continue growing as the event approaches. GoatFest is a ticketed event; you can purchase your tickets in advance.
Tickets to GoatFest 2025 are $40 in advance and $50 at the gate. Tickets provide access to the event featuring live music, food trucks, and beer. Each ticket includes a special commemorative tasting glass and samples of the event’s beers. Must be 21-plus with a valid ID. The Varietal brewery and taproom will be open, an all-ages venue, during the event.
The event takes place on Saturday, May 10th, at Centennial Square in Sunnyside, Washington, located across the street from the Varietal Beer Company brewery. The event benefits Nuestra Casa, a non-profit organization that empowers immigrants to create positive changes, enriching themselves, their families, and their communities.
