This annual project, spearheaded by Hellbent Brewing and Watershed Pub & Kitchen, supports the Northgate and Lake City Communities. Hence, the beer is called GateCity IPA. Funds raised by the beer and the events support North Helpline, a community service organization that works to prevent homelessness and provide food security.

GateCity 2022 begins today!
For the 5th year, Hellbent Brewing and Watershed Pub & Kitchen have collaborated to bring the award-winning GateCity IPA to the community during Seattle Beer Week 2022. The annual project serves as a fundraiser for North Helpline, a local community services organization. Participating locations will donate $1 per pint of GateCity IPA sold to support the Northgate and Lake City communities (hence “GateCity IPA”) by supporting the important work of North Helpline.
North Helpline is a homelessness prevention and food bank service in North Seattle. Their essential work is summed up by their motto: “We believe that all deserve adequate food, housing, and respect. We assist our neighbors in obtaining basic needs that affirm their human dignity and worth.”
