Frühlingsfest returns to Airways Brewing April 20-22

Frühlingsfest literally translates into spring fest. In Munich, the festival bearing that name is literally a beer-fueled celebration of spring. At Airways Brewing in Kent, Washington the three-day Frühlingfest is a celebration of spring with German-style beer and food, happening at both locations–the taproom and the bistro. Keep an eye on the brewery’s Instagram feed for more details.

Here’s what they’ve said so far: “Spring’s here – at least the season is – and our annual Frühlingsfest (Springfest) comes your way next week. In Munich, Frühlingsfest is a smaller, more localized celebration held on the same grounds as the larger Oktoberfest, but still features the celebration of amazing food & beer.”⁣

“First up, at The Tap Room & Brewery on Thursday, April 20, join us for a barrel tapping of Frühlingsfestbier and a special German food pop up. We’ll feature our house-made Bratwurst and Sauerbraten (marinated beef), along with delicious sides. We’ll tap the barrel at 4 and start serving up food at 5.⁣”

“Then, on Friday & Saturday, April 21-22, our famous German food specials return to The Bistro & Beer Garden in Downtown Kent, along with liters and half liters of Festbier.”
